Jerry Cope has been involved in working on ecological issues for over ten years. In 2004 he was inspired to rededicate his life to working on environmental issues. Drawing on his experience in the jewelry industry and jewelry design, in 2006 Jerry began developing eco-friendly sustainable jewelry manufacturing techniques and designed the Stop Global Warming Collection. His passion to actively contribute to the world-wide efforts to stop anthropogenic climate change led to his partnership with Laurie David and StopGlobalWarming.org and the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC). Together they launched Cool Planet Jewelry’s StopGlobalWarming Collection to raise both funds and awareness to the most important issue facing humanity today.

In 2008 Jerry joined Cucoloris Films in Venice, California as the Executive Producer of Environmental Projects. In addition to StopGlobalWarming.org, Jerry also works with Al Gore’s Alliance For Climate Protection, 350.org and the Rain Forest Action Network (RAN). Jerry is a frequent contributor to The Huffington Post.
